CPD Accredited Menopause training for managers
The challenge for most managers is not the desire to be a supportive manager but the fear of saying the wrong thing. Of ‘putting their foot in it’. They often aren’t sure what reasonable adjustments they can legally make and how they go about this without appearing to offer more support to some than others. This leaves them lacking in confidence about what they should / shouldn’t say when it comes to menopause, what they can / can’t do. Inadvertently signalling to employees that menopause is not a clear & comfortable topic to talk about, leading to bottlenecks within the HR department as individual queries end up higher up than they need to.
This 3.5 hour workshop has been designed for anyone that manages a team, to raise awareness of menopause it’s symptoms and how it can impact people differently, both personally & professionally. It is an engaging, interactive and impactful, and it gives managers the confidence they need to know what to look out for, how to have sensitive conversations and where menopause sits when it comes to employment law, so that they know exactly what reasonable adjustments they can sign off on. Embedding culture change throughout your organisation.

“For all you fellas out there that may think this is not worth it, think again. The content was very enlightening and the knowledge gained will help you in both a personal and professional perspective. Some of the information I received was taken home and will result in a medical consultation for my wife, who is through menopause but has some lingering symptoms that she thought was just a sign of old age.”
