Menopause Training Partner Based in Newbury, Berkshire

Niki McCloud

Niki began to experience some health-related struggles in her mid-40s, which completely derailed her and shook her confidence. It took three years to discover that this was actually perimenopause, a term she had never heard of before. After starting on HRT, her symptoms began to improve and she began to feel like her old self again. That journey was a massive wake-up call. Niki’s mission now is to ensure that no one else has to feel that way and that the mystery surrounding perimenopause is lifted once and for all. With women over 50 being the fastest-growing demographic in the workplace, she believes it is essential that these conversations are normalised and support is offered to everyone. Menopause shouldn’t be a career roadblock, yet too many skilled professionals are still left to navigate it in isolation.

As a menopause training partner with a BSc in Psychology, Niki understands the profound impact of perimenopause on mental health and how this can affect women in the workplace. She is particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent women for whom perimenopause is often additionally challenging. Niki draws on her lived experience to open up supportive, stigma-free conversations, and her aim is to ensure employees feel secure voicing their needs without fear of judgment.

As a former therapy radiographer and cancer information and support specialist, Niki approaches all conversations with empathy and is able to handle sensitive health topics with great skill and understanding. Based in Newbury, Berkshire, her hope is that all workplaces will adopt a menopause-friendly culture and that organisations are able to retain valued members of staff by offering compassion and support.
