Menopause Training Partner Based in Cheshire East
Amanda Atkinson
With over 25 years’ experience in the learning and development field across the charity, public and corporate sectors, Amanda brings a wealth of expertise and lived experience into the training room. Her passion lies in creating the lightbulb moment in a training session, when participants get the ‘why’ behind the what, and bringing topics that carry stigma or go unspoken about into the light, as part of everyday conversation.
This is why she joined Hormones on the Blink (HOTB): to build awareness around menopause and ensure both women and men have a better understanding, so they can hold discussions, provide support, and make menopause an everyday conversation topic. Her training background and insights, along with her own journey into perimenopause and the links between menopause and trauma, drive her commitment to closing the gap between what organisations
need to know and what they currently do.
Her warm, approachable facilitation style ensures participants feel safe to share experiences and ask questions, creating an engaging session. She hopes women who attend can leave feeling empowered with a better understanding of themselves and what they are going through and having answers as to why their mind and body have changed along with steps they can take to control and create an easier life for themselves whilst navigating this phase.
