Gemma Fieldsend

Menopause Training Partner Based in West Yorkshire

Gemma Fieldsend

Delivering engaging, evidence-informed sessions on the menopause and hormonal health in the workplace. Her passion for this work stems from her own experience in her late 40s, when she struggled with her mental health, disordered eating, and intrusive thoughts — challenges she later realised were linked to the menopause. That moment of connection sparked a personal and professional shift, driving her mission to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support others navigating the menopause and hormonal changes.

With over 25 years of experience in mental health, including roles as an NHS Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Team Manager, and trainer, Gemma brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work. She is especially focused on equipping managers with the confidence to support employees through menopause, perimenopause, and andropause, while creating inclusive, psychologically safe workplace cultures both as a Hormones on the blink training partner and as co-founder of Cog-Spark, a consultancy dedicated to mental health and wellbeing.

Areas of interest include:

  • Mental health and hormonal health
  • Men’s hormonal health
  • Eating disorders and hormonal health
  • Menopause Awareness and Managers Training to Support workplaces to create inclusive, psychologically safe environments.

Gemma’s work is driven by a deep belief in the power of education, empathy, and lived experience to drive lasting cultural change in how hormonal health and the menopause are understood and supported at work.
